Andrey Makarevich in Helsinki on 3 August 2026
On 3 August 2026, Andrey Makarevich will perform at Valkoinen Sali in Helsinki. The programme features an unusual musical duet: Makarevich’s voice and guitar together with Philipp Barsky’s Celtic harp.
Andrey Makarevich — musician, songwriter, artist and founder of the band Mashina Vremeni — will perform in Helsinki on 3 August 2026. The concert will take place at the historic Valkoinen Sali in the city centre. The concert starts at 20:00 and doors open at 19:00. Ticket prices are listed in the range of €60–150. This will not be a typical concert, but a special programme titled Andrey Makarevich and the Harp: a Celtic Rock Fairytale. Makarevich’s voice and guitar will be joined by Philipp Barsky’s Celtic harp, creating a chamber-like, almost fairytale sound in which familiar songs may be heard in a new way. Philipp Barsky will play the Celtic harp, an instrument with a soft, deep and unusual tone. Combined with Makarevich’s songwriting, rock, blues and lyrics, the format becomes a musical experiment where melodies, atmosphere, pauses, texts and live contact with the audience all matter. For fans, this evening is a chance to hear favourite songs in an unexpected arrangement. The organisers describe the programme as a combination of classic material and innovation: both well-known compositions and music created especially for this project may be performed. The concert will take place at Valkoinen Sali, a historic venue at Aleksanterinkatu 16–18 in central Helsinki, close to Senate Square. Doors open: 19:00
