About
Culture House Laikku is a former library building completed in 1925 in Tampere. It was designed by architects Jussi and Toivo Paatela. The library itself was founded in 1861 and long served as an important cultural centre for the city.
After renovation, the building was transformed into Culture House Laikku in 1988. Today it hosts cultural events and includes concert halls, exhibition spaces and the children’s cultural centre Rulla.
