About
Lasipalatsi Square is located in the very centre of Helsinki next to Lasipalatsi, Amos Rex, Bio Rex, Forum and Kamppi. The square works as a lively public space and meeting place and is used for concerts, discussions, festivals, city celebrations and temporary installations.
The square became especially recognisable after the opening of Amos Rex: its concrete hills and domes form part of the roof of the underground museum and create an unusual public space. MyHelsinki describes Lasipalatsi Square as a central urban living room.
