Helsinki Music Centre, or Musiikkitalo, is a centre of musical life in the Finnish capital, located by Kansalaistori. Opened in 2011, it brings together the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and students of the Sibelius Academy.
The main hall seats 1,704 people and is known for its acoustics. The building also includes several chamber halls, a library, café and restaurant. Its modern glass and copper architecture fits into the surrounding urban landscape.
